Our February meeting will be held
on February 25, 2010 at Durant’s (formerly Casey’s
North). Our speaker will be Mike Pratt, General Manager
of Gore Mountain, speaking on the Interconnect.
Our March meeting will be held on
March 18, 2010 at the Wells House. Our speaker will be Fred Monroe, current chairman
of the Warren County Supervisors, speaking on APA issues.
Our May meeting will be held on May 27, 2010 at
the Gristmill. More details coming soon.
Regular Meetings are held monthly at host member chamber
locations on a rotating basis. A drawing for annual
schedule of locations is held at the June meeting which
serves as the organization’s Annual Meeting. Typically
they are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, unless
prior notice is given of a change of date. Regular
monthly meetings are not typically held in July or
August. A delegate business meeting may be held at 5:00
PM as scheduled at host site. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM
with a social hour, dinner at 7:00 PM, round table and
program begin at 8:00 PM.
The host chamber is responsible for:
The Meeting program (guest speaker, etc.)
Site logistics and menu planning, within budget
Paying for guest speaker’s dinner, honoraria,
etc.
Providing meeting info to Council Secretary in a
timely manner to allow for distribution of
invitations, press releases, etc.
Monthly meetings are open to guests of council member
chambers, prospective Council of Chamber
representatives, and elected officials. Special meetings
or workshops can be scheduled at the discretion of the
executive board or at the request of at least 50% of the
full voting membership.
This annual (online and mailed) survey is sent out to
all member businesses of WCCC participating chambers.
The results are tabulated and disseminated to each
Chamber, County Tourism officials, Supervisors and the
news media. Survey responses are voluntary and reflect a
excellent cross-section of businesses in the Warren
County Council of Chambers catchment areas. Click below
